we love our papas!

tunnel fun for everyone!

okay, so i'll continue with the nanny watch while showing you some of the fun tunnel pictures michelle took! first we have sr. genise (sair jen eese). she is mama to sara, guerda, and benaldo. she loves to sing hymns and pray aloud! she really works hard and shares the load! she's an outstanding employee and we just love her.

next we have mme valet (madame vallet) who is mama to bryce, dapchaline and tiana. she also loves to sing and has a wonderful laugh! she was caroline's nanny, if any of you remember caroline who now lives happily at wings of hope. after mme valet, is our star, jutane! as you all know, jutane is mama to manthania,





her BROTHER NICOT, and daniel (who i call ti buddah!). jutane is loud and crazy and absolutely loves her kids. she was sooooo happy to hear that the burnett's will be adding nicot to their family!

our first three angels beach day!

whoo-hoo! we went to the beach! what a wonderful time we had! how great is our God to present us with this opportunity? and to go with so many of our moms here was such a great bonus! thank you, Jesus!

the hunt is on . . .

we searched high and low. we had help from nannies and we found lots and lots and lots of eggs!! our first easter egg hunt was a success thanks to gail who brought plastic eggs, candy, and baskets for each of us! what a happy day!

valencia hills!

i have said this in the past, but it merits being said twice (thrice?): we are so blessed by mission teams coming to help us here at three angels! we had a team come from valencia hills led by our dear friend, frank LOZANO. they painted and painted and painted. they fixed the depot shelves, they fixed the generator (!!), they sanded and fixed the kitchen cupboards, they played with our kids, they were great! the team paid to have a big load of trash taken away and they bought a great haitian painting to give as a gift to our staff which is now hanging in our new stairwell.

and. and. AND!!! they gave me a bar-b-que!! that made you-you very happy!

kites (kap yo)

it is a tradition here in haiti to fly kites at easter time. i have yet to get a concrete reason as to why, but the sky here is filled with kites and so we have been playing too!
